Sleeping at Hong Kong Airport

I'm traveling to Hong Kong in January of next year and I just realized I booked a late-night flight. I arrive around midnight and I don't know if I should book a nearby hotel/hostel or spend the night at the airport. It's my first time traveling by myself so I'm afraid to commute so late at night to Kowloon/Causeway Bay where there are cheaper accommodations. What should I do?
