This show is meant to be light hearted and entertaining and not viewed so harshly.

It makes me sad to come onto the sub sometimes and see so much hate for the characters, storylines, and so many harsh comments about the characters/storylines. It is a comfort show for me and I love turning it on and escaping into the sweet, fun, and charming world of Stars Hollow and its characters.

This show was meant to be lighthearted, entertaining, and fun to watch. It was written almost 25 years ago so I feel people would enjoy it and the characters more if they keep that in mind and watch the show in the context and time it was written and not view it through such a harsh lens with 2025 values.
