I don't do well with girls

I'm pretty average in the face, and I don't take good pics, so dating apps haven't worked very well for me. I'm tall, muscular, hygienic, and well-dressed though, and I notice lots of girls looking my way on-campus, at the gym, parties, etc. Pretty cute ones too. But idk I just don't know what to do with it. Idk how to initiate conversations or make moves or ask girls out without feeling like I'm being creepy or imposing. I've had girlfriends before, but it's usually just cause I get lucky with them making the first move.
