Furniture Flipping: Buy in one state & sell in another? Anyone doing this?

I have some inventory of antique furniture and it's plentiful in my area, so I can acquire it cheaply and would be able to resell certain pieces at a substantial profit, others at minimal, however the highest returns would be from sales in other states.

Therein lies my dilemma.

I feel like if I stocked up some inventory, then trucked it a state or two over and rented a booth in an consignment shop, then I would be able to sell quite a bit and with regularity. Trouble is, I work full time, and wouldn't have the time to maintain such a booth to check on it, restock it, etc. with it a state away.

But, perhaps hitting up large or well-attended trade days or market days, or whatever you might call them, on a quarterly basis would be doable to start out.

Is anyone here in this niche for flipping? Any advice?
