Unforgettable incident at gym

Last year, I joined a chain gym. Was doing preacher curls with the zig zag rod. I was on rotation with someone else as the gym was crowded at that time. While I was doing my set, someone from behind me (he clearly saw me) asked the helper for the zig zag rod. That helper took the rod from my hand as I was in the contracting position and gave it to the guy. The guy said “giving you the rod in a bit”. I didnt make a scene as I was confused af at that time and thought it normal. Left the gym within 10 mins and narrated the incident to my friend. He told me to let the gym owner know what happened. Reached home, called the gym owner and told him exactly what happened. He cross checked and apologised on behalf of the helper. Next day the helper also apologised and said “I had family problems”. Didnt replied to him and just nodded. Within a week the helper was fired from the gym. Told my mom everything and she said “you arent even working rn and already getting people fired.” (My mom told me that in hindi but I translated it so everyone can understand it)
