So I’m thinking of how Appalachia evolved..

When you first come out the vault and the world is populated now by vault dwellers (before the other wastelanders and what not) the vault dwellers surely have a big impact on Appalachia. Considering how friendly the community is - I’m thinking Appalachia grew to be quite a peaceful place but very very secure and isolated and just focusing on rebuilding what was once their home with the help of the people who settled in West Virginia at the time of the game and due to the isolatedness maybe that’s why we don’t hear about what’s going on in West Virginia in future games ? Maybe they integrated the brotherhood of steel and raiders and other smaller communities too bc of how the vault dwellers helped them from the scorched and all that main story jazz

Either that or they got absolutely fucking totaled by forces unknown but I like the idea of a long line of descendants coming from the vault dwellers who decided to keep Appalachia THEIR home and not tell anyone about it and secure it to a point where no one is really allowed in except for vault descendants and a very very few select people and they made Virginia so safe and what not that no one really wanted to leave considering what is known and not know to be out there.

Idk would love to hear what you guys think about it
