Malenia glitch?

I just beat Malenia for the first time ever, except I feel kinda cheated as I experienced a glitch during combat where in her first phase she glitched into the right wall close to her arena’s entrance and fell out of the map. I expected her cutscene to play but instead she just died and I gained her remembrance. Has this happened to anyone else? And should I feel cheated out of a good fight, or just be happy I didn’t have to worry about her second phase?
