Does anyone notice that homemade then to feel "fuller" than store bought/frozen?
I've been cooking my own food for a while now, mostly due to the cost and it means I can also make it very healthy.
I still used to buy package snacks as I have a sweet tooth and would always have big craving crash two hours later. Recently, my housemate made a cake - it's was delicious and simple vanilla cake. It was actually extremely sweet and felt heavy/filling. I was actually dreading the sugar crash after but that didn't happen.
So I went do a rabbit hole researching and found how apparently industrial-made snacks and food tend to have a lot of preservatives, additives, and also ingredients probably aren't very healthy or nutritious for us. Wondering if anyone else has the same experience with home made Vs store bought food and snacks?
