Please spoil me about Scissor Seven

I've watched a couple episodes today and it is too comedic for all donghua I've watched, so I'm not trusting it as a silly funny little cartoon. Does it have a lot of lore like pretty much all other donghua? If so when does it begin to show? Also the fifth season got removed😢😭
