Ok. Why is this a promotional image?

I was scrolling down Reddit and found this. I always see it but I never bothered to look at it. Today I decided to look at it closely (don't ask me why) and the team and the friend. Like, why they choose this image as a promotional, I know that, you know, they show a part of the gameplay and that's ok, but at least show that you know how to play. Also what the heck is that team. I recognize AGL MUi Goku, Int SSBE Vegeta, Gohan Frieza (I believe), AGL Transforming Trunks and correct me if i am wrong, is that SSJ Goku Tur of LR Agl Spirit Bomb Goku (or maybe the Three Super Saiyan LR Tur i don't know), I don't know who's the one below. Also that Gohan friend is dead.
