How many characters have you made?

I played DnD for the first time three weeks ago with some friends, and I've fixated pretty hard on it since. We just used some default character sheets and kinda improvised as we went along, but since then I've been learning the rules and making characters none stop.

So far I'm up to 51 characters, all with unique backstories, with my favorite class being paladin with a count of 7. Ive also made a handful of custom spells and items, two playable races, a new class, and I've started an outline for a campaign I want to write.

I think I'm ready for session two lol

It's just so easy to get lost in the creativity of it. How many characters have you made, and do you have any favorites?
