Mpg gains worth switching to diesel?
Currently using a 15’ Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 to pull around a 12’ enclosed weighing around 3000# every day and getting around 10-11 MPG in the summer (truck gets around 17 empty)
Been throwing around the idea of getting into a diesel if it would mean significant enough mileage gains. Would want pre DEF for sure, likely 01’ - 08’ not brand loyal just wondering what you guys are getting with similar weight/size trailers on a daily basis
