I think we should be welcoming to borderline right-wing influencers getting burned by Elon/MAGA

If there's one thing I want to say to someone I am politically opposed to that gets burned by their own movement it's "I told you so." And you know what? I think this is the exact wrong thing to say.

I feel like we have an opportunity here with Elon burning bridges with influential right-wing gamers like Asmongold. We have an opportunity to turn him and it least some of his audience against MAGA. Like, whenever a left wing influencer has some falling out with the left, it feels like the right is there immediately to scoop them up and turn them into yet another "why I left the left" influencer.

But when someone on the right gets burned? We tend to just point and laugh, it's a very human response, and I think that's part of why we are losing. We need to be more strategic with these opportunities.

I really hope that some left wing shows invite people like Asmongold on to talk about his experience with Elon.
