Snow on Friday? What's up?
Hey all! I am a super duper amateur weather enthusiast, and I wanted to talk about what might happen Friday into Saturday morning.
I heard some voice in the wind trying to summon me for the last storm that came through, but I just thought it was tinnitus. I figured I should chat about what's coming tomorrow, though I don't think it'll be significant.

We're Getting Snow on Friday?
Yep! As of now, it's not going to be otherworldly or the end of the world. R.E.M. isn't going to host a concert here as a result playing a particular song, as far as I know.
ECMWF, NAM and the EPS ensemble aren't showing snow depths being more than three inches for much of Denver metro. Many areas will hover around one to two inches, and the foothills and the Palmer Divide are looking a bit drier than that.
Here is the what the ECMWF run looks like through early Saturday morning.
NAM and the EPS have runs/ensemble showing less overall for the Denver area.
What's the Timing?
The snowfall will be steady, starting on and off tonight and steadily through Friday throughout the day. Most of the system should have moved through by Friday night/super early Saturday morning, getting back to sunny temperatures in the 40s for the Denver area.
Is There Chance for Variance?
Yeah, but I am not expecting a lot of change. I'll see about checking the models in the morning when time allows, in case something has shifted significantly.

Snow? Yeah.
Lots? Nah.
When? Tomorrow
Closures? Got some dice to roll?
Updates? Tomorrow morning. Prolly. If necessary.
The Muffins? Blame Joe.
