Halfway point in SOTFS?

What would you consider the halfway point in this game? Ive almost collected the 4 great souls the emerald herald told me to do, I haven't done any dlc. I'm just curious if I'm halfway, close to done or have a loooong way left to go.

Is it like ds3 where once you get teleported to dancer you're kinda late game but there's still a decent amount to do? Or like ds1 when you get the lord vessel and are really just starting to do your main quest?
