What's the best possible weapon in DS2 that can be used by a sl1 character of any class?

A friend of mine needs to play through Dark Souls 2 to get all of its steam achievements. Since i've beaten the game already, he asked me to find the best weapon he can use right from the get-go and drop it to him via invader summoning, mainly because he wants to fast-track through this game. He's fine with any type of weapon.
