Any ideas what this is?

Hey folks! I found this piece locally, and was trying to dig a little deeper to see what I could find out about it. When trying to look for similar pieces, I saw a huge range of prices, so on the off chance I stumbled on something very collectible, I wanted to do my due diligence and see what I could find out. I couldn't find anything regarding the makers mark- it reads MAZE I think, along with characters below it.
