Trim carpenter apprentice at crossroads

Started one year ago totally green and slowly got into the swing of things. Now my boss can send me out to do work by myself or work with crew members on bigger projects and I've earned a spot by working hard and proving myself. It feels great.

However, before starting carpentry I was making much more money doing photography. The business I had got trampled by covid and never came back so I made a career change.

I can see how EVENTUALLY I can run my own crew and make a livable wage doing this. But something in my heart is telling me to dive back into a different sector of photography business which I have experience in.

It would give me double or triple on the money I am making currently as an apprentice. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel with carpentry but the notoriety and artistic side of photography is calling me.

Has anyone else had similar feelings?
