I'll say it, the new hero and pet are terrible

Honestly, I don't see the appeal at all. I think unless you're already running a niche elemental build, the new hero and pet are both useless. I don't even want the pet because it'll just screw with my immortal egg drops, as I'd only use Elsa and freya anyways. Am I missing something?
