Leaving job for CAT 2025. Need advice.
Hello everyone, I have a 9.60 LPA job in government consulting (primary education). I have 38 months of work experience, till date.
Profile: 9/8/7, non engineer (BA History hons), General, male. Age- 26. Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW).
Situation: This year was my first CAT attempt, prepared from June alongside job & getting 40 marks raw score (20-14-6). (Slot 3) Guys, while attempting the paper, I felt, if I would have studied more, things could have been different, especially in QA & DILR.
My job is Mon-Sat, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm with 50% field visits; stationed in a tribal district in MP. Because of my hectic job, I wasn't able to study hard, wasn't able to give my 100% ! I am already 26 years old. 😞
Therefore, I am planning to leave my job in February 2025, which anyway I don't like, and dedicate myself for CAT in order to score 99+ percentile in CAT 2025 and show myself & everyone my true potential.
What are your thoughts? Any suggestions? Please help making me a decision. I will be highly obliged. Thank you in advance 🙏
P.S: -- Never had a gap year. -- Have 1.5 years of savings for sustaining my family.
