Can sexual attraction grow?

Sexual attraction and a healthy sex life is very important to me. For me, attraction isn’t just based on someone’s visual appearance but their voice, body language, facial expressions, how to talk to others, and how they carry themselves. Which is why I find it hard to trust what I am judging on dating apps because so much of this is missed.

However, I have always believed that sexual attraction should be immediate in person and that it can’t grow or develop over time. Am I wrong? Is it possible to meet someone who makes me laugh, shares my values, is kind and thoughtful where there is only slight sexual attraction to begin with and have it increase over time? Has anyone had an experience of this?
