Has Anyone Here done International Internship?

Recently my college sent us a mail regarding internship in Tokyo, Japan (Yay!) Though the deadline was already in a few hours (Oh, College you sneaky bstard!). But waise bhi I don't have skill to crack the interview for the internship(Just like majority of my tier 69 college). So I just wanted to ask if anyone webt abroad for internship? How did that helped you?
