Revisiting "The Plight Before Christmas" (S13E10)

I just watched "The Plight Before Christmas" again. Holymoly, what a great episode jam packed with emotional moments, relatable parenting, and great jokes. And it does not miss, one, single, beat. My favorite joke is the sub's crowd work. Tina Fey's deadpan delivery really made the character.

I noticed a small scene that somehow moved me the most (besides the big moment obv). When the host(emcee?) at the library was introducing Louise's poem, he lowered the mic and the stand to match Louise's height. That is the epitome of how people care for one another in the most simple ways. And he simply says "I love this next poem." What a great line.

Anyways I don't think I can stop thinking about this episode. There are just so many great moments, and I feel sad that we don't get to talk about every single one of them because there'd be too much to talk about.
