Fed up with these wingers.
Don't bother reading further, the title says it all: nothing new, just me ranting about the same things again.
Time to sell Coman, Sané, and Gnabry—especially Coman. Yes, he scored a great goal a few games back, but other than that, he's the weak link in the team. How can you not pass the ball correctly when you've got two players up front against one defender? And on top of that, we're one man down, playing with 10! His finishing and passing have been severely lacking. Let's be honest—diagrams and stats might say these players are great, but we aren't seeing it on the field. People say Kompany will unlock Sané's full potential, but I just don't see it. Everyone's been saying, "Maybe this year he'll improve," for the past four years, and nothing has changed. All of them have passed their prime. Time to SELL, SELL, SELL!
The truth is, they've been dragging this team down in so many games. Games we could've won or at least tied if those chances hadn't been squandered by these three no-longer-competent players.
These players are no longer Ribéry or Robben replacements. Bayern likes to show loyalty to its players—like when we stuck with Robbery for so long, even after they passed their prime, or when we offered a contract extension to Hernandez after his injury, only for him to say no. But it's time to take things seriously. Business is one thing; loyalty is another, and there should be a fine line between loyalty and blind indulgence.
As any Bayern fan, I would've loved to see them hang up their boots here at Bayern, fly into the sunset as heroes, and step into legend status. But it's time to take the L. Mr. Lisbon should have moved on after 2020 on a high note, and the same goes for Gnabry. As for Sané? He's been spiraling downward for years. The club needs to cut its losses and move on. "Just take the L and sell."
It would've been great if they had left gracefully of their own accord, but why would they bother when they're getting paid absurd amounts of money? I know this board is looking to offload them; I just hope this board finds a creative way to offload or push these players out rather than sticking with them for another minute.
Honestly, at this point, it'd be better to have no one than unreliable players. At least that would serve as an incentive for the club to buy players who meet the standards of this club.
I would rather see Irakunda or bring back Bryan Zaragoza, and on the downside, even if they don't work out, at least I would have an excuse and hope for them being young and developing, rather than watching this shit show.
