Haven’t finished a play through

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’ve been playing since I bought it 2 weeks after launch. I’ve had multiple characters, and played with many builds. I’ve only made it to moonrise towers once, and haven’t been back since. I tend to get stuck a lot with my builds and giving up because I run out of way to do damage. I also forget to save a lot and have to do certain areas again. I enjoy the game but I really wanna see what’s after moonrise towers. Don’t know what build would make it easier for me. I don’t want to go on the easiest difficulty just to finish the game.
