How easy is to make friends on a whv

What's up guys I'm from Italy and I'm planning to take a break from my current life and go in Australia, just wanna say that I'm a pretty lonely and also unemployed here. ( My life fucking sucks) in your opinion what should i expect from a whv trip, any tips or hints that can help me to get a job and make friends?
