For the (religious) Right: How is Trump’s “hush money to a pornstar” justified in your circles? Is it discussed at all?

Sorry that this ALSO has a religious tie in, I’m just trying to address a question I have regarding something that feels like a double standard and has truly been confusing for me. I feel like there’s a lot of outwardly purity-cultured “anti-porn” religions and religious public figures that blindly (and outspokenly) support Trump. Typically porn/adultery is a HUGE sin for many conservative religious circles… but I never hear it talked about with Trump. When I’ve asked about it, it’s ignored or immediately shut down. Why is he immune? If it’s because everyone knows it’s bad and shameful, then why are people okay with blatantly ignoring it and not talking about accountability?

Background: Grew up non-religious in a state that hasn’t voted blue in over half a century. Live Jesus-y spiritually and in a blue state now. Truly trying to understand because it’s a complete disconnect to me right now lol
