How would you feel if a 25-year-old female coworker followed you on social media after some light flirting? (25F and 41M)

We’re coworkers, and there’s been some light flirting at work—playful banter, compliments, and generally good vibes. I’m interested in him (not looking for anything super serious) but unsure how to proceed because of the age gap (25F/40M) and the work dynamic. If I follow him, I’d like to see if that opens the door to more interaction, but I don’t want to come across as unprofessional or overly forward. We don’t work directly together and I don’t work for him.

How would you interpret this? Would it be a welcome move or feel like overstepping? Also, realistically, would you ever make the first move in this situation, or would the age gap and workplace environment make you hold back? Should I be the one to take the lead if I want this to go anywhere?
