Are they're a lot of dairy-free options at restaurants?

American here, I'm thinking about visiting Island but I am allergic to dairy. My friends and family say that I wouldn't survive because most of Irish cooking has dairy in it. My thought was that Ireland would be just as accommodating as here in the states but I wanted to make sure before I went.

If correct I will look forward to dying of the many other normal ways to die in Ireland, please keep me updated on what they might be.
