Weird glitch or hacker?

So maybe I'm extremely paranoid but I had an encounter with a player named "Dontcheckmywishlist" and of course I'm goofy and checked it, and it made my game freeze. I made sure to cancel my subscription and reported the account but has this or anything similar happened to anyone else?
