Pick cross-training as an AFE associate

Ive been n in afe since I started here sixteen months ago, in that time I've gone through all the department's flow paths and spent six months as the pg. I had selected for pick cross-training probably about a year ago after getting sent up there to run totes one day and thinking pick looked a lot cooler than pack. I've heard a few differing rumors/opinions on picking and i wanted to hear more people's experiences. Has anybody been moved to pick from AFE and if so how would you compare those experiences? Any tips or words of caution to be advised of? thanks in advance
