Vacation time “submitted”???
Been with Amazon for over a year and a half.. just transferred to a new site. The site itself is less than a year old, so not sure if my question has to do with how new they are or what but I’m confused..
At my old site I was told that network wide, as of April of last year, when we put in vacation it’s automatically approved; meaning we don’t need to get it accepted or ran by a manager. I’ve known people at other sites, and they’ve said the same thing too.
Today I needed the day off for a personal matter, even though today would’ve been my last day of “training”/week 1. I put in my vacation, and it ALWAYS says approved, but right now it says “request submitted”… UMMMMM WHAT? I asked HR on Wednesday if I use my time for Saturday (today) would there be an issue and she said no.. so I’m confused bc what is going on?
Y’all help me out bc was my old site wrong saying it was a network wide change, or is my new site trippin trippin? (Missing punches don’t get approved until you talk to HR)…
