AIO about my ex?

So I don’t have screenshots cuz I blocked her and deleted her contact. My gf of 2 years broke up with me saying “my parents don’t want me to date anyone they don’t approve of”. The text was fine at first, with her asking to stay friends. But at the end of the text she deadnamed me, and when my friend confronted her she said that her friends made her send the text (completely different story). After about two hours I blocked her and said we can’t be friends. Am I overreacting?
