Changing AirPods Max Name in the “Find My” app

I recently bought my friend’s Airpods Max (second generation, if that matters). I’m super stoked about it!

Problem is my friend is named Stewart. I’m Howard (not our true names). Naturally, his Airpods Max was set to “Stewart’s Airpods Max”. When I connected it to my phone for the first time, I changed the name to “Howard’s Airpod Max” in Settings and Bluetooth.

However, when I clicked the “Show in Find My” option, the Find My app still shows it as “Stewart’s Airpods Max”.

How do I change it to my name (i.e., “Howard’s Airpods Max) on the Find My app? Thank you!
