What advice would you give to someone that’s been single for 10 years?

So, I stopped looking. Especially after someone said they started talking to someone else and I’ve been in a cycle of looking and not looking for shorter amounts of time, but I honestly don’t know why I want a girlfriend, it would be nice, but at the same time I like being single. Is ten years long enough trying?

It feels like something or the universe has been preventing me from finding love and Ive come to accept that. After my last breakup, I told the universe that the next girl I date is the one I want to marry. Looks like it’s been helping me w that and instead of me just allowing time to take me to that person, I tried desperately for years to do that myself and that could be why nothing has worked. Could be superstition, but idk.

Anyway, I’m finally enjoying being single and I can’t wait till I cross paths with my beloved at the right time. If you have any advice, please feel free to share :)
