Will my event pokemon still be legit to compete in online matches if I use pksm to nickname them?

The title sums up my question. I have some pokemon from the older events that I want to nickname. I am aware that you can nickname those type of pokemon if your trainer matches the OT, TID, and SID. However, I was wondering if PKSM will do the trick
